About the role as Intern in the SEO team
Are you passionate about how people find websites online? Do you wonder how Google Search, ChatGPT and other LLMs work, and what determines how websites rank? To find out, join our growing Organic Search team and explore the fascinating world of digital visibility in SEO and GEO.
As an SEO intern, you’ll become part of a collaborative and driven team that works closely with experts in content, analytics, and development. You’ll be guided throughout your internship by a dedicated SEO Specialist - your Buddy - who will help you develop your skills step by step.
What you’ll get to work with:
- Learn how Google Search and other search engines actually work
- Support website audits to identify technical improvements
- Conduct keyword research and identify new content opportunities
- Explore how AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) are reshaping search
- Help improve website structure, metadata, and internal linking
- Get hands-on with Google tools such as Search Console, Analytics, and Looker Studio
- Learn how to track SEO performance and how to measure what works

Our Amsterdam office is located in the heart of the city, close to Albert Cuyp Market and the Amstel Hotel. We are a close-knit team of 13 professionals, including a dedicated SEO team of three. Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone excited about the future of digital marketing and is ready to dive deep into the world of SEO. You might be a perfect fit if you:
- Are in the final stages of your studies in marketing, communication, media, or a related field
- Are structured, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Enjoy working independently but love being part of a team
- Have strong communication skills – in English (Dutch is a plus, but not required)
- Curious about how AI, search engines, and websites all connect
It's a bonus if have experience with Google tools, SEO software, or basic HTML.
Practicalities about your internship
The internship will last for 6–9 months. Approximately half of our interns continue working with us after their internship, either part-time or full-time, depending on the stage of their studies. However, this is an individual assessment, and we cannot guarantee it in advance.
