Director, Paid Social
Do you have the ambition and platform expertise to lead Paid Social at the highest level, and make your mark on a growing European agency?
We are looking for a Director to our Paid Social team. In this role you'll get the closeness, the culture, and the energy of a tight-knit 30-person London team combined with the ambition, resources, and client portfolio of a leading European agency behind you. As our new Director of Paid Social, you'll lead strategy for some of the most exciting global retail brands on the market, including Wrangler, Lee, and New Era.
The Role
This is a role where deep platform expertise meets real client partnership. You will hold high-level commercial ownership while remaining close enough to the data to ensure executional excellence.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Strategic Brand Leadership: Leading the Paid Social strategy on 5-6 clients, ensuring all channel plans directly tie into wider commercial and brand goals.
Account Ownership: Owning the day-to-day performance of your accounts, from structure and spend pacing to creative testing and platform hygiene.
Growth Mapping: Proactively identifying growth opportunities and challenges to shape long-term client roadmaps.
Client Partnership: Building trusted partnerships by steering client discussions, owning performance insights, and communicating with clarity.
Vision & Product Collaboration: Collaborating with the Head of Paid Social to bring our UK vision and product roadmap to life.
Team Mentorship & Development: Mentoring specialists and senior specialists by sharing knowledge, challenging their thinking, and raising the bar on delivery.
There is a view for this role to evolve into a Team Lead of Paid Social, depending entirely on your professional interests and skill set.
What you bring to the team
You're at your best when strategic thinking and specialist knowledge meet. Taking the lead comes naturally to you - whether that's steering a client conversation or raising the bar internally.
While we do not believe in rigid checklists, we’d like you to bring the following to the team:
Extensive Agency Experience: 6+ years of Paid Social experience, ideally gained within an agency environment.
Strategic eCommerce Mindset: A strategic mindset for eCommerce growth, with a deep understanding of how different tactics move the needle for complex businesses.
Multi-Platform Fluency: Deep platform fluency across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging channels.
Composed Execution: A calm, solutions-first approach when challenges arise and timelines tighten.
Trusted Client Advisor: The ability to become the go-to for your clients – balancing hands-on performance delivery with strategic direction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Confidence when presenting to client boardrooms or collaborating with internal teams.
